Coveted Yarn's Newborn Hat Contest

Here are the most recent hats! I know it is summer and everyone is busy but we have received many less hats than last quarter so the chances of winning are pretty good. We also plan on running special mini sales for people who have sent in hats as a thank you gesture. If you have sent in hats and are not sure if we have your e-mail please send us an e-mail with your name and contact info so we can include you on the newborn hat sale e-mail list and verify that you sent in hats. We truly appreciate the efforts of all those involved and look forward to many, many more hats as we grow this program. Below are the ins and outs of the contest.

NEWBORN KNIT CROCHET HAT CONTEST:Donate a knit or crocheted hat to the cause and each hat entered will be counted as an entry into a drawing for a $50 gift certificate to our website: http://www.covetedyarn.com/ All hats will be donated to the Beverly Hospital to be given to newborns. There is no limit on the number of hats you can send in. To be eligible all hats must be received by end of day on June 30. If you are running a little behind schedule don't worry as we are running this contest quarterly.

Fiber of the Week sale is Schaefer's Heather As knit by Yarn Harlot!

Hello all,

I am sure at least some of you are familiar with the Yarn Harlot. Recently she posted about a pattern she was working on ( Schaefer Pattern 334 ) with Schaefer's Heather . We have had a little more interest in Heather as a result, so I thought we might be able to give this new fiber a little jolt by making it our fiber of the week and putting it on sale. The sale only lasts till June 4th so stock up now and tell your friends! Most orders for Heather will have to be a special order just so you know, but you do have access to every color they make it in and we will get it to you asap!

Schaefer appears to be well stocked so any special orders should go right out in a couple of days from when it is ordered. As with all specialof the week sales any special orders will be placed at the end of the sale. This is one of my wifes favorite fibers. She like it so much she used some to make a baby hat and booties for our daughter to wear in the hospital, it is that soft and nice.
