Coveted Yarn Newborn Hat Contest Ending 6-30-08 results

Well,

We ended up with 120 hats for this past quarter, just look at them all! Thanks go to everyone who participated. As a result of the tremendous effort put out by so many I decided to throw in a second $50 gift certificate so we would have 2 winners. It seemed a shame to have such great support and only have one winner. So here they are:

Erin R. in Texas

Dawn W. in California

Congratulations! You have each won a $50 gift certificate good for anything on Coveted Yarn's website I hope you find something you can treat yourself to. As for everyone else, thanks again. The program wouldn't be possible without the support of everyone involved.

Now, we have already started the contest for next quarter. This one will be almost the same but will end on September 30th. There will be one small change: My wife is going to pick out her favorite one out of all the hats donated (she takes all the pictures) and that hat's maker will get a special prize! Sooooo.... Get to it!!!

Here are the details:

Here is the contest:NEWBORN KNIT CROCHET HAT CONTEST:Donate a knit or crocheted hat to the cause and each hat entered will be counted as an entry into a drawing for a $50 gift certificate to our website: http://www.covetedyarn.com/ All hats will be donated to the Beverly Hospital to be given to newborns. There is no limit on the number of hats you can send in. To be eligible all hats must be received by end of day on September 30. Congratulations to the winners and well done everyone.

I'm such a geek, I copied the photo, brought it into Photoshop, and zoomed in to see if I could see familiar hats. Darcy and Leslie, I spotted yours.

The red, white, and blue striped ones are mine. Patriotic, right? Actually, I was thinking Red Sox colors.
