Remember the fiber of the week from December 23? It was Woolly Stripes by Nashua. Your blogger bought 2 skeins of Citrus and 2 skeins of Dark Fuschia and made the famous Noro Striped Scarf. Am so pleased with the result of combining 2 self-striping yarns that I had one of my friends take a photo of it at work today.A gentleman named Jared Flood wrote up this pattern which I found for free on Ravelry. Over 5400 of these scarves have been finished by Ravelers. I find fascinating the different yarns they use: Noro Kureyon, Noro Silk Garden, Noro Taiyo, Noro Iro, the aforementioned Wooly Stripes, and many self-striping sock yarns.
