Fiber of the Week - Miss Priss

Hello all!
We are going to try something new here at Coveted Yarn. Every Wednesday we are going to announce a fiber of the week and put that fiber on sale until the following Wednesday. This week we chose Miss Priss from Schaefer Yarn Company. This is a great all around fiber and Schaefer sets the tone with some fabulous color selections. We are kicking off this new tradition with a whopping 20% discount to celebrate the beginning of spring! All special orders for Miss Priss will be placed with Schaefer the Wednesday the sale ends. The one that (almost) got away

Here is hat # 38 that snuck away and hid when I was gathering the hats for the last update post.

I have been getting very positive feedback from people sending in the hats they make. I think that is great. Rumor has it that this is a fun thing to do. Maybe it would be fun for you and your friends too!

Newest additions to the cause!

Here are the latest additions to the newborn hat contest. As you can see it is going very well. I would like to thank everyone who is taking part and spreading the word. We are at 37 hats so far, with 2 weeks left to go. That is a dramatic change from the 2 we got for the first contest! It just goes to show that you should never give up on what you think is a good idea. Below should be any info you will need but please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

Something to sink your teeth into!

For the month of March we will take a portion of our gross sales and donate it to Harvest Meals. Harvest Meals is a program through Cape Ann Interfaith. It provides meals for those who need them. It is a great program and one that I am personally familiar with and proud to have been able to take part in. This is in addition to our hat contest which you can read about below. Another update on the Newborn hat contest!

Here are ten more hats for the contest!!! I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who is taking part. This is a real fun project on my end and I never would have figured I would be so excited on my way to the PO BOX.
