So now another Fiber of the Week. This one is Como by Debbie Bliss. It is a bulky yarn, comes in 16 colors and is very, very soft. If you're like me, you're already thinking about Christmas presents; Christmas is three months from today. This yarn would knit or crochet very, very quickly into scarves or hats. Fiber of the Week - Sept. 10

As the weather cools (in the 40's at night in some parts of Massachusetts this week!), more and more of us are picking up the needles or hooks to start that fall project. I hear that a lot of knitters and crocheters are looking for soft yarn. Here's a beautiful Italian that combines merino, silk and a touch of cashmere. It comes in 22 delicious colors. Fiber of the Week - Sept. 3

Hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend! I happen to know that there was a cookout at the home of Coveted Yarn where projects were shown, knit nights were planned, steak was grilled, and the best corn of the season was had by all. Yum!

Up next for 20% off is a great-looking Aran weight sweater yarn. It's from Europe and called Flama by Fil Katia. As you might be able to tell from the photo, it's a self-striping yarn, but the contrasting stripes are intermittent. This gives a much more subtle look than the usual self-stripers.
