Fibers of the Week - January 20, 2010

We have two fibers of the week this week. Both are from Mirasol and both are 30% off! Reviews online seem to agree that these are very pretty hat, scarf, or shawl yarn. This first one is Chirapa, a sport weight that comes in 10 variegated colorways. The specs:

Fiber of the Week - January 12, 2010

What? An actual project photo? Yes! This week's fiber of the week is one that your blogger has used many times for baby presents, including the one above. The yarn is Snuggly DK by Sirdar and a lovelier baby yarn you'll be hard pressed to find. It's available in 45 colors, some most appropriate for adults. This is a great yarn for any project to be worn next to the skin and has also been a popular choice for chemo caps. Fiber of the Week - Dec. 23

Fiber of the Week - Dec. 9, 2009

This week's fiber of the week is a stunner. It's Mooi by Louet, a company well-known for quality yarn. This lace weight is one of the softest yarns I've ever felt - just like a cloud.
