New Fiber of the Week! Blue Heron's Rayon Metallic!

Hello all,
It is Wednesday and we have a new fiber of the week. This week it will be Blue Heron's Rayon Metallic. This fiber is stunning and sparkly! As with all Fiber of the week sales we will wait until next Wednesday to place any special orders for this yarn. This is a really neat fiber made from 88% Rayon and 12% metallic which gives it that special sparkle. All Rayon Metallic bought through our website during this sale will be 15% off!

Grand Total of 66 hats for this Quarters Contest!

Here is the final push in the Baby hat contest!! We received a total of 66 hats! That is a tremendous effort and far exceeds my hopes for this quarter. As a result I am going to draw for TWO $50.00 credits to the website as opposed to just the one I had promised. I don't have the list in front of me so the drawings will take place tonight. I will update the Blog and announce the winners no later than tomorrow around lunchtime. In the meantime... We have started a NEW CONTEST!!!! Same contest new time frame, this one will end June 30.

Fiber of the Week - Miss Priss

Hello all!
We are going to try something new here at Coveted Yarn. Every Wednesday we are going to announce a fiber of the week and put that fiber on sale until the following Wednesday. This week we chose Miss Priss from Schaefer Yarn Company. This is a great all around fiber and Schaefer sets the tone with some fabulous color selections. The one that (almost) got away

Here is hat # 38 that snuck away and hid when I was gathering the hats for the last update post.

I have been getting very positive feedback from people sending in the hats they make. I think that is great. Rumor has it that this is a fun thing to do. Maybe it would be fun for you and your friends too!

Newest additions to the cause!

Here are the latest additions to the newborn hat contest. As you can see it is going very well. I would like to thank everyone who is taking part and spreading the word. We are at 37 hats so far, with 2 weeks left to go. That is a dramatic change from the 2 we got for the first contest! It just goes to show that you should never give up on what you think is a good idea. Below should be any info you will need but please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
